Blue Lotus was known as the flower of ecstasy in Ancient Egypt and revererred for inducing blissful euphoria, opening the doors to sacred realms. This is a ceremonial flower that promotes lucid dreaming. Therefore enhances intuitive wisdom and psychic abilities.

This sacred plant secretes  alkaloids that modulate dopamine receptors in the brain stimulating the pituitary gland which controls our sex drive. Also igniting the third eye, bringing clear vision as we dream. While uplifting the mood, inducing relaxation and  rejuvenation.

I met Blue Lotus while studying sacred rituals and graduating in Egyptology & ancient civilisations many decades ago and treasure a deep love for its spirit.

This is one of the only plants in the Apothecary I don't harvest.
